Background
I am a strong believer that good health and wellbeing should be the foundation for a happy and prosperous life. After all...we are here to experience our true potential and that can only begin to happen when you feel alive and well!
Too often we hear people talk about having low energy, lack of enthusiasm and drive, or simply 'feeling low or down.' But with the right combination of diet, exercise, yoga and bodywork we can bring both mind and body back into balance, allowing you to experience a sense of harmony and joy, an awareness of simply 'being.'
My enthusiastic and passionate approach, combined with a sensitivity and deep understanding of peoples' individual needs and concerns, has allowed me to explore this wonderful form of healing and to delve further into the complex relationship between body and mind, and how we can work towards finding harmony within ourselves.
Training
I hold an ITEC in anatomy & physiology, massage therapy and have also studied Indian Head Massage and Reflexology. I have studied and practiced yoga in the sivananda tradition for more than 5 years with teachers both here in the UK, Europe and in India.
After completing a number of yoga retreats whilst travelling around India, I discovered Chavutti Thirumal massage and was completely blown away by my experience of it as a therapy and profound form of healing. I learnt more about the form itself and returned to Goa once again to train in Chavutti with Helen Noakes at the Brahmani Yoga Centre.
Currently I am practicing Chavutti in Barcelona, Spain as well as on various retreats around Europe (summer 2008) and Finsbury Park, North London.
